My mother-in-law, Vicki McLaughlin, is courageously battling end-stage liver failure caused by an undiagnosed autoimmune disease. Despite ongoing medication, her doctors have made it clear that a liver transplant is her only hope for a longer, healthier life. Both of her children selflessly stepped forward to becoming living donors, but unfortunately, neither was a match. We are reaching out to the community, hoping to find a living liver donor who can give Vicki the chance she so deeply deserves.
About Vicki:
Vicki has been happily married to her husband, Patrick for 45 years. She is a devoted mother of two and a proud grandmother to four wonderful children. Throughout her life, Vicki has dedicated herself to her family and to serving others. Her career spans over 25 years in community service, including 14 years at the Barber National Institute supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, and 8 years at the Tidioute Senior Center preparing meals for residents and Meals on Wheels. She also spent 6 years as a teacher’s aide at Country Church Preschool and is a founding member of the Tidioute Community Charter School. Vicki has always put others first—now, she needs our help.
Please help us spread the word and bring hope to Vicki and our family by sharing her story. Together, we can make a life-saving difference.
